Most of us who garden and / or compost, which will not even started thinking about the new season until well into spring. Why we're cleaning up our yards and parks from this season! And, unless you have a compost system, such as making a pot with a kitchen and one of those little porch compost tumbler, compost can slow down your good efforts during the cold months.
But the avid gardener or composter on YOUR Christmas list are already planning for nextSeason. They count the days to come until the new seed catalogs and the seedling plants at the nursery are available. You can not wait for the soil to thaw, or change back from a jumble of soggy mud of the actual floor, so they go out and start poking around. You want to get their hands back into the ground. They do not mind dirt under her fingernails and all over the porch.
To bring joy into their hearts and a smile on their faces when they open their Christmas presents andYou can find the special garden or compost that article, which you selected specifically for them.
Here are some good ideas:
Garden clogs - these are really nice and you can slip in and out of it with ease;
Thermometer to take the temperature of the compost, so they know when they cook or just sit there;
Claw Fork Topturn - this is really handy if you have a Worm farm and the compost must be organic material that you put in the upper bin ventilate;
Bucket of Worms - make sureThey actually have a Worm farm - or, as the fish!
A kitchen pot or bucket, perhaps one of those cute bamboo. These are so cute sitting on the kitchen table and come with filters, odor, so they are free;
A book about one of the various methods of making compost - mushroom compost, a Wormery the Bokashi system, compost tumbler, and a bunch of pitchfork or even a regular compost bin;
An additional Wormery only for their dog or cat poop. The resulting "mold" can be used in aOrnamental garden and not used for food production area;
A new fork for the die-hards who always want the old times;
A bag of Bokashi refill, if they use the Bokashi system;
A Compost Aerator Tool. This is for a compost pile or bin handy;
A gift certificate for their favorite garden store - stick it inside the book on compost, you're also making it purchased;
Custom T-Shirt - "I love my Wormery" - or something like that! If you have someone on yourList moved to a new location just in and they now have room for garden and / or compost - and you think they would like to compost - a simple starter compost support systems, such as Bokashi, or Worm farm can be fun. You can also make them one or two books about the various types of compost.
We would like to wish all our friends a wonderful gardener and composter holidays. Renee & Aziz
